Liechtenstein.
The Gasthof L”wen's history is over
600 years old, which is reflected
in the varied period paintings, furnishings and room throughout. The
original area of the building dates from 1388 and served as an inn and
viticulture. A winepress and extensive cellars were available to press
the grape harvested from the "St”cklerwingert" (St”ckler's vineyard)
facing south. Its present day appearance is due to the elevation of the
mansard roof and other extensions undertaken at the time of the French
Revolution. In the Years thereafter the winepress premises, as well as
the stable and barn were rebuilt. During previous centuries, the L”wen
was not only one of the best and most important inns, but also one of
the largest farm in the country. The premises were completely renovated
during 1986 - 89 to meet today's standards and comfort requirements.
The "Gasthof L”wen" has been one of the notable buildings that make up
the Vaduz Residence since the 14th century. Restored with care and
respect in the eighties, the inn, steeped in tradition, that once again
emerged resplendet. The very walls of this lovely old house breathe
history.
Individual, delightful rooms, furnished
with period furniture, offer a
high degree of comfort for hard to please guests. Antique and modern
stiles, selected with taste and love, guarantee relaxing and
stimulating times and make you feel at home in the "L”wen".
The elegant yet comfortable Restaurant
offers delicacies and excellent

Liechtenstein. Our house is located
directly in the skiing region. The skiing school is only 50 m away. A
winter holiday and nothing besides: skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing,
building snow castles, a snowball fight, or who can build the largest
snowman . need we say more?
